MORGAN MURPHY: Biden Needs To Stop Asking For A Ceasefire And A Two State Solution

Team Biden-Harris uses any excuse to tell Israel to stand down.

“The ashtrays are full in the situation room. Let’s have a cease-fire.”

In the days that followed Oct. 7, 2023, the United States immediately instructed Israel to moderate its response. Secretary of State Antony Blinken ridiculously demanded, “It is critical that aid begin flowing into Gaza as soon as possible.” (RELATED: MORGAN MURPHY: Don’t Ask Israel To Pull Its Punches)

The demand made about as much sense as a screen door on a submarine. If you want to win a war, don’t help your enemy until he surrenders.

Wisely, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ignored the U.S. commander-in-chief. Since Oct. 8th, Bibi has steadfastly pledged to defeat Hamas and restore deterrence to the Middle East.

But like a Bruce Springsteen song, the Biden-Harris administration continues to repeat itself calling for an Israeli cease-fire. In Dec. 2023, less than six weeks after Hamas’ medievally brutal attack on Israel, President Joe Biden claimed Netanyahu was losing support due to “indiscriminate bombing“ of civilians.

Never mind that Israel is fighting for its very existence. Never mind that Israel’s tactics work. Never mind that Hamas killed 46 American citizens and holds seven American hostages to this day. Never mind that Israel takes greater precautions to prevent civilian casualties than any army in the history of warfare.

By Biden-Harris logic, the U.S. would have started shipping Band-Aids to Tokyo after the Battle of Midway or airdropped crackers to Germany once we bagged Normandy.

It gets worse.

When Iran decided to pile on to our most faithful ally in the Middle East by firing 185 drones, 110 surface-to-air missiles, and 36 cruise missiles at Israel, did the American president signal his support? No. In April, Biden again called for a cease-fire and ordered Israel to “take the win.” (RELATED: MORGAN MURPHY: Let Israel Win The War)

After this spring’s student protests on Ivy League campuses, Biden called again for a cease-fire from the White House State Dining Room. The speech showed off the president’s staggering naiveté about how wars are won. “With a ceasefire … aid could safely and effectively be distributed to all who need it,” the president said.

And what about the safety of the people of Israel? Biden chided its citizens: “Take a step back and think about what will happen if this moment is lost.”

Thankfully, Israel ignored Biden once more, opting instead to schwack top Hamas leaders Ismail Haniyeh in Iran and Mohammed Deif in Gaza.

In response, the Biden-Harris administration paused a shipment of 2,000 bombs in July. It used the U.S. military, not to free American hostages being held in Gaza, but to set up a boneheaded pier scheme to deliver aid to displaced Palestinians. The floating dock, which lasted all of 20 days, cost the U.S. taxpayer $320 million. (RELATED: MORGAN MURPHY: Joe Biden’s Gaza Pier Washed Away — Along With $320 Million In Taxpayer Dollars)

In September, White House spokesman John Kirby remarked that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was a “big obstacle” in ceasefire talks.

“The big obstacle,” as it turned out, was cowering in Rafah.

Enter, stage left, Vice President Kamala Harris. Back in March, the veep did what she does best: offering the exact wrong answer to a question nobody asked.

“We have been clear in multiple conversations and in every way that any major military operation in Rafah would be a huge mistake. Let me tell you something: I have studied the maps,” she said.

Imagine our relief that Madame Vice President has looked at a map.

Fortunately, Israel ignored our strategically-challenged veep. For it was in Rafah that the IDF dispatched the Hamas leader on Wednesday this week.

Had Israel listened to either Biden or Harris, Hezbollah’s leadership would be intact, Hamas would still be in charge of Gaza, and the mastermind of the Oct. 7 attack would still be alive.

Yet on Wednesday, instead of offering her congratulations and leaving our ally to decide their own next steps, Kamala Harris once again called on Israel to “end the war in Gaza.”

Some people never learn.
