When it comes to taking trips to Iowa in January, country music superstar Morgan Wallen might want to make that a regular every year thing.
Hunting with Drury Outdoors in the Hawkeye State, Wallen hunted down a beautiful whitetail buck to gloriously start the New Year for the second year in a row. (RELATED: You’ve Got To See The Size Of This Gargantuan Elk That Elite Hunter Killed For New World Record)
“This is his second whitetail in lowa and it’s an absolute beast!” wrote Mark Drury on Instagram. “It’s exciting to see his love for the outdoors, conservation, and hunting growing. We spent much of his time in camp talking about habitat enhancement, QDM and food plot strategies… This was just the cherry on top.”
In Jan. 2024, Wallen bagged his first whitetail in Iowa while with a cousin of his, Jared Mullins. At that time, the 10-point buck that Wallen killed was his biggest ever.

At this point, we have to ask: What can’t Morgan Wallen do?
He has No. 1 singles, check. He has No. 1 albums, check. He has beautiful women on his resume, check. He has bucks on his wall, check. Quite frankly, it looks like somebody has the Midas touch. Oh, and let’s not forget the fact that he’s friggin’ rich.
It must feel pretty damn good to be Morgan Wallen.
