What happened to the Adam Silver who made great decisions…?

Fans weren’t pleased with the NBA during Game 1 of the 2025 Finals due to the league not featuring a logo of the legendary Larry O’Brien Trophy on the court.

The anger from fans sparked up when Game 1 between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers was going on when fans started to criticize the league for taking away the signature O’Brien logo from them. The NBA ended up responding, bringing back the O’Brien for the second game of the series, but how they did it still has fans complaining. And rightfully so.

Rather than slapping one big physical Larry O’Brien graphic on the court, the NBA decided to put not just one, but two digital O’Briens on the court for Game 2.

And man, did they look tacky. And fans let the league know about it.

Can you blame the fans?

So you can’t blame the people for their frustration.

Just bring back the Larry O’Brien, NBA. What’s the big deal?
