Talks are currently happening between the NCAA and their TV network partners, who are CBS and Warner Bros. Discovery, with the goal being to expand March Madness by March 2026 from 68 schools to either 72 or 76. NCAA president Charlie Baker informed Front Office Sports of the situation Thursday morning while in Orlando, Florida, for Big 12 spring meetings.
“We’ve had good conversations with CBS and WBD,” said Baker. “Our goal here is to try to either get to yes or no sometime in the next few months, because there’s a lot of logistical work that would be associated with doing this, if we were to go down this road.”

Those pieces of paper ruin EVERYTHING, and … wait for it … here we go again.
