Hitting a 90-foot putt, driving a Porsche … Sounds like my man is ready for the big time!

A fan of the Nebraska college basketball team didn’t see his Cornhuskers pick up a victory Wednesday night, but he ended up walking away with something cooler — a brand new Porsche. The fan won the vehicle in the “Putt for a Porsche” contest. (RELATED: Jimmy Butler Slapped With Two-Game Suspension For Acting Like 3-Year-Old)

In a random drawing, the fan ended up grabbing himself two free tickets to the Nebraska game at Pinnacle Bank Arena where they took on USC. Then at halftime, that’s when he stepped onto the court in an attempt to hit a 94-foot putt, doing so from a baseline all the way into a tiny little slot of a board that was propped up at the other baseline.

Having an incredible amount of pressure on him to win a $74,000 Porsche Macan, the guy cooks up one of the flashiest of diamonds, hitting the long putt to win the Porsche in epic style. And to make the situation even better, he even did the Tiger Woods fist pump, because you have to after a win like that!

I know we’re still in January, but I literally saw a Masters commercial just before writing this blog, which amplified my excitement even more, so I’ve been thinking about that majestic yellow flag all morning.

Talk about a great way to start the day!
