Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) debuted the official trailer for the “Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson” event and if you weren’t excited before you definitely will be now.
The teaser clip is just over one minute long and it packs more punch than you can imagine.
The highly anticipated fight night will stream live globally, exclusively on Netflix on Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. (eastern time). The action will be broadcast from the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The promotional trailer kicked off with a variety of fight flashbacks from Paul & Tyson’s careers in the ring and the narrator reminded fans that “everyone has a plan – until they get punched in the mouth.”
The high-energy video clip was a thrilling introduction to a fight that’s so big, the world will undoubtedly be watching.
“There’s never been a night this big,” the narrator said.
“This is no ordinary fight, this is Jake ‘El Gallo’ Paul, the disrupter, versus Mike Tyson, the baddest man on the planet.”
The fight scenes kept flashing in the clip, as the narrator hyped the main event.
“This is the fight the world’s been waiting for. What happens next? Only one way to know. Paul vs. Tyson, Friday November 15th, live on Netflix,” he said.
The night will be action-packed and the countdown has officially begun.
MVP issued a statement to the Daily Caller, saying, “in the co-main event, Matchroom’s undisputed super lightweight world champion Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs) will defend her undisputed title over 10, two-minute rounds against boxing trailblazer and unified featherweight world champion Amanda ‘The Real Deal’ Serrano (47-2-1, 31 KOs) in the most anticipated rematch in women’s boxing history.”
“Also on the main card will be the 12-round men’s championship fight for the WBC welterweight title between reigning champion Mario ‘El Azteca’ Barrios (29-2, 18 KOs) vs. Abel Ramos (28-6-2, 22 KOs) and a 6-round super middleweight fight between India’s number one boxer and MVP’s first international signee Neeraj Goyat (18-4-2, 8 KOs) vs. Brazil’s multi-talented superstar Whindersson Nunes (2-2-1, 1 KO combined boxing record),” MVP said in the statement.
Fans that can’t wait for the big fight night can tune in to “COUNTDOWN: PAUL VS. TYSON,” a three-part documentary series that promises intimate access to the fighters.
