Will Compton, a former NFL linebacker turned Barstool Sports podcaster, had a comical response Wednesday to a question he said he received from The Washington Post (WaPo) after he interviewed former President Donald Trump.
At the end of a two-minute video Compton posted to X detailing a WaPo request for comment, he provided his comment in the form of an audible two-second fart.
“Here’s your comment,” he wrote, tagging the outlet in the post before expelling a loud and gassy outburst.

WaPo reached out to ask Compton why he laughed at a remark Trump made about not wanting to play football because he didn’t want to be tackled by “some guy who was lifting weights all day long and came from a bad neighborhood,” Compton revealed.
“Their question is, why did we find that amusing,” Compton said. (RELATED: Trump Is Running A ‘Dudes Rock’ Campaign. It’s Actually Working Pretty Well)
“You already know what they want to do with this thing,” he said. “You wanna know what kind of picture they want to paint, you wanna know what kind of box they want to put us in, you know their vision for this entire question,” Compton said.
WaPo cited Trump’s comment garnering attention from his “opponent,” Compton revealed.
The Harris campaign’s rapid response X page reposted a video of Trump’s comments which was met with a litany of left-wing speculation that Trump was being racist.
“He can just say ‘black person’ next time…” one person replied.

“He’s going to use the N-word in public before the election,” Stennett4Senate 2026, an apparent campaign account for John Stennett, wrote in response.
