Benjamin Franklin once said in an 18th-century letter to French physician Jean-Baptiste Le Roy, “Our new Constitution is now established and has an appearance that promises permanency. But in this world, nothing can be said to be certain except death and taxes.”
If he were alive today, he would most certainly add to this list of life certainties: Democrats falsely accusing their Republican political rivals of being Nazis and supporting Adolf Hitler. It’s their go-to hyperbolic hysteria political tactic. Typically, it’s deployed during important political elections, but with a new year comes new ideas, and Democrats and their sycophants on the Left dusted off the unsuccessful political playbook and decided to use it against SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.
A video went viral Monday night showing Musk speaking at one of the inaugural events for President Donald Trump. During his speech, Musk passionately thanked those who sacrificed their time to help Trump win the election. He then put his hand over his chest and straightened his arm as if he were throwing the love he had in his heart to the people in the audience.
After the gesture, Musk again touched his heart and said, “Thank you. My heart goes out to you. It is thanks to you that the future of civilization is assured.”
Focusing on love and gratitude. Such a Nazi and Hitler thing to say, right?
For years, decades even, Democrats have been falsely accusing conservatives, Republicans, and anyone who challenges their ideas as fascists, Nazis, or Hitler enthusiasts. Yet, like sands through the hourglass, so, too, are the days of our lives and the Democrats’ unhinged desire to portray those who disagree with them and threaten their political ideologies and existence as a Hitler-loving Nazi. It’s almost as if they learned nothing from their embarrassing political defeat in November.
No one should believe the left-wing performative antics or the deceptive, dishonest, and manipulative assertions the Democrats are spewing regarding Musk’s comments and gestures. And, in 2025, it is a safe assumption that many people won’t believe it. It’s an archaic smear tactic used by political dinosaurs accustomed to the habits of yesteryear’s political generation. They tried this nonsense with Trump, and it backfired. It will backfire again, too.

The insufferable latest Nazi and Hitler accusation is just further proof of the magnitude of disarray that exists among the Left. They lost, and Musk helped make that defeat happen. That, and only that, is the reason behind the attacks on Musk. It’s the adult political version of a temper tantrum. The only people who believe this nonsense are radical members of the Democratic Party — and probably not even all of them.
Only unhinged fanatics believe such claims. It’s a pathetic attempt for Democrats to regroup and try to claim what once was instead of realizing what now is.
