‘Nobody Gives A Flying F*ck’: Tommy Lee Calls Out Tone Deaf Musicians For Promoting Themselves While Los Angeles Burns

Tommy Lee is outraged by musicians and artists promoting themselves on social media while wildfires ravage Los Angeles.

The iconic rocker took to social media Jan. 13 to vent his frustrations about the seemingly tone deaf messaging some stars were continuing to share online amid the devastation unfolding around them.

“Makes me fucking sick to see most people just [carrying] on posting on lame ass social media!” Lee wrote on his official Instagram page. He continued expressing his anger and disabled comments, preventing his fans and followers from weighing in on his rant.

“Guys right now nobody gives a flying fuck when your record drops or the next concert is when so many people are in the middle of one of the biggest disasters of all time!” Lee wrote.

He demanded that the music industry shift their attention to matters that are more pressing at this time, and urged artists to take a step back from self-promotion out of respect for those facing disastrous circumstances as the fires continue to burn.

“I get that some comic relief is always need but Jesus Christ leave it all alone and maybe just stop and see who needs help if you can,” the 62-year-old Mötley Crüe musician wrote.

His band expressed concern for those affected by the fires in a message shared to Facebook Jan. 9.

“To everyone affected by the devastating and unprecedented fires in our hometown of Los Angeles, our thoughts are with you during this very difficult time. May you and your loved ones stay safe as we stand together to overcome 💔❤️‍🩹 Mötley Crüe,” they wrote. (RELATED: Dick Van Dyke Digs His Heels In The Ground, Refuses To Leave Fire Ravaged Area)

Some Hollywood events and musical concerts have been postponed in recent days out of respect for those affected by the fires. A number of celebrities are among the many displaced after losing their homes to the flames.
