That’s what I wanna see, Caitlin! Stand up for your damn self!
The Atlanta Dream went all out in their attempt to get Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark off her game, looking to get a second consecutive victory, but it was the Fever who walked away with the glory.
Getting the 81-76 win, the Fever got sweet revenge Thursday, Clark in particular, following the battle between her and the Dream’s Rhyne Howard. (RELATED: Angel Reese Mocks Caitlin Clark As Terrified ‘White Girl’ In TikTok Video)
Clark has a load of opps across the WNBA, and let’s be honest here, it’s mostly because she’s a white woman running the show in a black-dominated sport. But despite her getting tested over and over again, Clark usually takes the politically correct way out, something that I complained about just recently. However, she got out of her turtle shell a little bit against Howard.
At one point in the game, Clark was running the ball up the court with Howard playing defense on her, but Howard was being just a bit rough. After the referee blew the whistle to stop play, Howard then shoves Clark, but Clark, to her credit, she took up for herself a tad. Yeah, she could have been more aggressive about it, but it’s a start. It’s a lot better than that weak ish she did against Angel Reese recently.
“I’m not scared of you!” yelled Clark while being held back by one of her teammates.
