Oh boy… We’re headed towards another wild season.

Coming into the 2024-25 college basketball season, the No. 13 Texas A&M Aggies had high expectations because of their experience, consistency and the wide range of talent they have on their roster. But the campaign got off to a disastrous start Monday night in a road contest, with the UCF Knights giving us our first major upset of the season at Addition Financial Arena.

To make the situation worse for the Aggies, the upset came in an utter collapse as they blew an 11-point lead with only 6:24 left in the game. When things were winding down, A&M got ice cold from the field, ultimately allowing UCF to squeak by for the 64-61 upset victory. (RELATED: Off With A Bang! Nearly playing hero, Aggies guard CJ Wilcher almost hit a three-point shot that would’ve tied the game, but you know what they say: Shoulda, coulda, woulda.

And things ended up with Knights fans storming the court in a scene that I’ve truly missed as a college basketball fan.
