It’s hard not to like this guy.
After taking out the Buffalo Bills to win the AFC Championship, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are on the verge of making NFL history as they have a chance to win a third straight Super Bowl.

“First off, I want to give all glory to God,” said Mahomes to CBS Sports’ Tracy Wolfson following Kansas City‘s 32-29 win Sunday night. “Without Him, none of this is possible, and I truly mean that.”
Mahomes then spread the love to his teammates as they helped him get to a third consecutive “Big Game” and on the cusp of three straight rings.
“I’m just so proud of my teammates and how they responded. That was a great football team. I’m just at a loss for words. I’m excited for New Orleans,” said Mahomes.

I can’t stand the overall theme or whatever you want to call it with the Chiefs, I can’t stand the effect with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, I can’t stand any of it … with the exception of Patrick Mahomes. He’s a God-fearing man, his whole family supports Trump (so I’m assuming he does too), he’s humble, what’s not to like?
Other than his bad stats killing my fantasy football team this season, I don’t have a problem with the guy. Keep doing you, Patrick. (But it’s still GO BIRDS.)
