Terrible, James. Just terrible.

Penn State suffered a 27-24 defeat in the College Football Playoff semifinal (Orange Bowl) against Notre Dame, and not only did the Nittany Lions lose, but they choked the game away. And head coach James Franklin is getting absolutely dragged for it.

See, the thing is with Franklin, he has a hard time winning big games — a really hard time. And Thursday night didn’t do anything to help his cause. (RELATED: Notre Dame Punches Their Tickets Into National Championship With Insane 27-24 Victory Against Penn State)

Penn State looked great against mid-tier programs such as SMU and Boise State, but when the heat got cranked up in the College Football Playoff against the Fighting Irish, Franklin proved once again that he can’t win a “big one.” Yeah, the Nittany Lions did their thing with a blazing start, but the choke-fest ruined all of that.

And unfortunately for Franklin, he’s paying the price for it on social media, as fans are absolutely roasting the skipper for yet again losing a huge game.

COOKED!
