Some people are celebrating the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson by selling merchandise glorifying the suspected assassin.

The twisted situation is unfolding on Etsy, where people are now selling shirts, cups and even Christmas ornaments bearing the likeness of Luigi Mangione. If you want the image of a suspected murderer in your home this Christmas, there’s a lot of fan-made merchandise to choose from.

Some people seem to admire Mangione for his apparent good looks, so much so that they can’t wait to surround themselves with his image for the holiday season. They’re even jokingly hailing the alleged murderer as the “Time Person of the Year” on a fake cover that’s been circulating on Etsy.

The variety of merchandise continues to expand as people’s bizarre admiration for this man grows.

Memes featuring Mangione have taken over the internet, many playing on his apparent Italian ancestry with references to “The Sopranos” and Luigi from Super Mario Bros.

Lookalike contests have also been held in New York City, and jackets similar to the one Mangione wore during the attack are flying off the shelves, according to TMZ.

Police arrested Mangione in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on Monday while he sat inside a McDonald’s restaurant. A customer reportedly recognized him from the “wanted” posters that circulated widely following Thompson’s murder, and alerted an employee. Authorities later arrived and took the suspect into custody for interrogation, the outlet reported.

Police reportedly recovered the pistol Mangione allegedly used in the murder, as well as a scathing three-page manifesto about the evils of corporate America and the healthcare industry. It is believed the suspect previously suffered a serious injury resulting from a surfing accident. Those who are buying, selling or creating merchandise in celebration of a suspected killer are blatantly disregarding the life of Thompson and his loved ones. Extolling a murder to this extent is truly revolting, and is a sad reflection on the deterioration of our society.
