Scary moment out of Detroit…

Tim Hardaway Jr., a forward for the Detroit Pistons, had to be taken off the court in a wheelchair in Tuesday’s game against the Miami Heat after he took a couple of different shots to the head.

According to a report from NBA insider Chris Haynes, Hardaway got stitches after suffering injuries to each his face and the back of the head. When he took a CAT scan, results came back negative, but deeper details of his injuries are still not known at this time. During the third quarter of the NBA Cup contest between the Pistons and Heat at Little Caesars Arena, Hardaway took an accidental elbow from Miami center Bam Adebayo while he was making a drive to the basket. That’s when Hardaway took his shot to the face.

Hardaway managed to get back up pretty quickly, doing so to put a charge call on Heat point guard Tyler Herro while he made a drive. Taking another fall, Hardaway’s head blasted into the court from the back, and that’s when he had to be taken off the court in a wheelchair.

Thoughts and prayers to Tim Hardaway Jr. … rough stuff right here.
