President Trump loves what he’s seeing!

As we all know, Rory McIlroy was victorious Sunday in the 2025 Masters to become a Grand Slam winner, and to add to the glory, he was issued a congratulations from President Donald Trump.

McIlroy managed to break through mistake after mistake to get the win at Augusta National, doing so with some incredible resilience. I mean, damn, my man even had to get past hitting a ball right into the water at one point. But he did, and he walked out of Augusta with the green jacket. And not just that, but holding off Justin Rose in a playoff saw him win his first major in a decade. While flying Sunday night on Air Force One, Trump spoke about McIlroy’s victory at the Masters and revealed that he watched the ending of the tournament, applauding McIlroy for his courage.

“I have to congratulate Rory,” said Trump. “Tremendous courage. He was having a hard time. People have no idea how tough that is. Came back. It’s better for him it happened that way. Real courage. It was amazing. I wanted to watch it. One of my favorite shows ever, the Masters. Justin Rose was great. Great athletes under tremendous pressure. Small percentage of an inch. Literally in some cases a hundredth of an inch.”

I rode with Bryson DeChambeau the whole tournament, but I gotta give Rory props, he did what he had to do to win.
