He got ejected for this?!
During the second quarter of the Los Angeles Rams’ 26-20 victory Sunday over the Seattle Seahawks, Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua was ejected from the game after throwing a punch — if you can even call it that. Los Angeles quarterback Matthew Stafford threw a pass to Nacua, but Seattle cornerback Riq Woolen ended up intercepting the ball. Following the play, Nacua and Seahawks linebacker Tyrel Dodson got into a little bit of a scuffle, and it ended with Nacua throwing a soft punch (more of a warning shot) to Dodson. The “punch” resulted in Nacua being ejected.
After suffering an injury scare in Thursday’s practice, Nacua was made active for Sunday’s game. Playing a total of 26 offensive snaps for Los Angeles up until his ejection, with the Rams having a total of 30, Nacua tallied 11 receiving yards off one catch.

The NFL is so weak for this … I can understand if Nacua threw a molly whop and it nearly sparked up a brawl, but this?
It just adds to the narrative that the National Football League is actually the No Fun League, that our once beautiful violent sport is now soft as a cupcake. It’s a shame.
Meanwhile, the NBA completely gets it. Well, at least Joe Mazzulla does.
