“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Teddi Mellencamp revealed she was diagnosed with multiple brain tumors in a social media post shared Wednesday.
The daughter of famous musician John Mellencamp surprised fans with the shocking diagnosis.
“For the last several weeks I’ve been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches,” she wrote on Instagram. “Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization. After a CT scan and MRI, doctors fund multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months.”
“Two of the tumors will be surgically removed today,” she told fans.

Mellencamp went on to say there was a long medical road ahead.
“The remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date,” she wrote.

The 43-year-old showed gratitude to everyone who is by her side and assisting her during this health crisis.
“I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health,” she wrote on social media.
“Thank you to everybody who has reached out, and to everyone who has supported me along this journey.”
This is not the reality star’s first brush with cancer. She publicly documented her battle against stage two melanoma and shared images of her surgical process as well as the various stages of her recovery.
