President Donald Trump held a rally in Michigan on Tuesday to commemorate and celebrate his accomplishments during the first 100 days of his second term.
“We’re here tonight in the heartland of our nation to celebrate the most successful first 100 days of any administration in the history of our country, and that’s according to many, many people,” Trump said during Tuesday’s rally. “This is the best, they say, 100-day start of any president in history, and everyone is saying it. We’ve just gotten started. You haven’t even seen anything yet.”
The Trump administration has paraded its accomplishments this week, touting the number of executive orders Trump issued and the significant progress on illegal immigration, border security, and deportations of illegal immigrants. Also celebrated were legislative victories such as this week’s congressional approval of the Take It Down Act and the Laken Riley Act, as the Washington Examiner previously reported.
Other Republicans in the Senate and the House also issued statements celebrating Trump’s successes in his first 100 days.
“We’re 100 days into the Trump Administration, and we’re already seeing enormous change on behalf of the American people, just like the president promised,” said Sen. Dave McCormick (R-PA), who was elected to the office in November, largely because of Trump’s voter support in Pennsylvania.
“In his first 100 days in office, President Trump has made our southern border safer by ending catch & release, signing the Laken Riley Act into law & reinstating Remain in Mexico,” said Sen. Jerry Moran (R-KS). Illegal encounters at the southern border are down 95% thanks to these commonsense policies.”
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), who hasn’t always seen eye-to-eye with the president, especially on tariffs, also issued a statement congratulating Trump for a successful 100 days into his second term.
“100 days of cutting government waste, securing the border, pursuing peace abroad, and simply restoring sanity to the American people,” Paul said.
“In just 100 days, President Trump has secured the border, fought racial quotas, and totally changed the national conversation about the budget,” said Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA).
Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) said Trump had done an “outstanding job” and gave him an “A+” for the start of his second term.
“We continue to even get better because he’s solving more problems everyday. Thank you, President Trump, for what you’ve done!” Tuberville said.
House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA) also had high praise for the president.
“Today marks 100 DAYS of President Trump and Republican majorities in Congress,” Scalise said. “America First and common sense are BACK. And we’re just getting started. Promises made. Promises kept.”
House Republican Leadership Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) issued a statement highlighting how Trump is “securing our borders, reining in inflation, unleashing American energy dominance, combatting antisemitism, supporting the rule of law, and restoring American greatness and peace through strength on the world stage.”
Other House Republicans had similar praise for the president’s accomplishments.
“In 100 days, POTUS and his administration have been reversing the disastrous Biden-era policies and are working hard to usher in the Golden Age of America,” said Rep. Jim Baird (R-IN). “Promises made. Promises kept.”

“In 100 days, President Trump has: Secured our border, declassified the JFK+RFK files, deported thousands of illegal alien thugs, protected American manufacturing & workers, started eliminating rampant waste, fraud, and abuse, crushed DEI in academia & business,” said Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL).
“100 days of MAGA,” emphasized Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA). “President Trump’s administration is restoring common sense, securing our border, unleashing America’s energy potential, and attacking waste, fraud, abuse, and theft in the bureaucracy.”
