Can we please stop with the identity politics?

Up until this point, the only real spotlight that New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Khalen Saunders has obtained in his career in the NFL was when he made an interception off Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. That took place in the 2024 campaign.

Listed at 6-foot-tall and weighing 324 pounds, Saunders brought back the INT for 37 yards and immediately earned him some big-man hype.

Nowadays, he’s expanding what he’s known for, and that’s showing support towards the LGBTQ+ community. (RELATED: Eagles’ Saquon Barkley Gifts Ivanka Trump’s Son One Hell Of A Present That A Lot Of Us Would Spend Tons Of Money On)

Saunders made a recent announcement that he will be hosting a “LGBTQ-friendly” football camp in Summer 2025, doing so at the 2025 Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation media awards.

Saunders said that his intentions with the camp is “to get kids out and active.”

“That’s my goal [is] to continue to spread positive energy around that because football is for everybody,” said Saunders while being interviewed on “Good Morning Football” on NFL Network. “Football is for all.”

Call me old-fashioned, but I don’t understand why we can’t just have a simple football camp anymore.
