He’s crashing out…
Todd Kress, the head coach of the San Jose State women’s volleyball team, isn’t happy with the criticism being shot at his team and also what he claims to be “hate” after the university let transgender player Blaire Fleming be on the squad.
Following the Spartans‘ loss Saturday night in the Mountain West tournament championship against Colorado State, Kress had a conversation with Fox News regarding their 2024 season.
Kress made the claim that his team was ready to play in every game despite five different schools‘ actions to boycott them, saying “we did not take away anyone’s participation opportunities.” (RELATED: Blaire Fleming’s College Volleyball Career Likely Comes To An End After Crushing Defeat In MW Championship Game)
He also claimed that every time San Jose State was hit with a boycott from an opponent because they refused to play against a biological male, they were blasted with “appalling, hateful messages.”
Kress also went on to explain that it’s been a “most difficult season” for him.
“This has been one of the most difficult seasons I’ve ever experienced, and I know this is true as well for many of our players and the staff who have been supporting us all along. Maintaining our focus on the court and ensuring the overall safety and well-being of my players amid the external noise have been my priorities,” said Kress.
