‘Sex Scenes All Day Long’: Actor Jackson White Explains Hot And Heavy Filming Schedule

Actor Jackson White said production of “Tell Me Lies” involved full-on sex scenes that lasted an entire week.

The actor, who plays Stephen DeMarco on the hit Hulu drama, spoke candidly with his mother Katey Sagal and stepfather Kurt Sutter on the Oct. 22 episode of the “Slice of Pie” podcast about his experience onset. He shared the NSFW details while noting the story would be one that “the internet will like.”

White said the show only had one intimacy coordinator, so the sex scenes got lumped together. The intimate scenes “would kind of line up with like a week, so it would be like a sex week.”

The actor got into some nitty-gritty details about his style of thrusting during sex scenes and what it was like to be filming that type of content for hours on end.

“There’d be sex scenes all day long,” White said on the podcast. “So there’d be, like, an intimacy coordinator running from set to set because Lucy and Leo were doing it, but then Brie and Oliver were doing it … And it would be like, sex days.”

White joked about how he would dodge the awkwardness when he was able to. He said he would hang out in his trailer while some of the scenes were being filmed. The famous actor noted that his real-life girlfriend, Grace Van Patten, was also involved in the adult-filming process.

White recalled that during the first season of the show, “someone” told him that he was “not trusting right” during the sex scenes that were being filmed. He didn’t identify the source of the criticism.

“And I was like, ‘What? How?’” he responded. (RELATED: Nicole Kidman Says She Paused Filming Because She Didn’t Want To Orgasm Anymore)

He recalled being told, “We have to make it so that it’s more realistic,” and that he was “doing kind of like a body roll thing,” that he was instructed to fix.
