My man earned his “Bullet” nickname, good lord!

Saturday’s bout was potentially the hardest that Shara “Bullet” Magomedov has ever been involved with in his career up until this point, and he handled it in absolute flying colors as he earned a beautiful clutch win. And he did so with a move that will forever be in the UFC‘s history books. In the main card’s opening match in UFC 308, Magomedov took out Armen Petrosyan in a TKO decision after he pulled off a double backfist in the second round, doing so at the 4:52 mark. The event was held in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi at Etihad Arena.

The pace in the middleweight bout was frenetic with both sides delivering kicks, but it was Magomedov who chalked up the dub. And it came courtesy of the first double spinning backfist knockout in the entire history of the UFC.
