Hanna Cavinder, a basketball player for the Miami Hurricanes and girlfriend of Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck, took to TikTok on Monday, seemingly slamming critics commenting on Beck’s appearance.

“OK, I’m just gonna get this off my chest because this shit just literally fires me up and annoys me so much about social media and society nowadays,” the 23-year-old said in a TikTok video. “I don’t understand why viewers or fans or whatever it is get satisfaction of commenting on a person or athlete’s looks on social media — or roasting them and thinking it’s OK to comment about what they look like, come at them, tear them down like these people aren’t human beings.”

“It’s actually sickening nowadays how society can just, you know, we just turn a blind eye to someone commenting [about] what a person looks like online,” Cavinder continued. (RELATED: Frankie Valli Hits Back Against His Critics After Performances Go Viral For Wrong Reasons).

“It just doesn’t sit right with me. It makes me sick to my stomach that people can got out of their way to comment on anyone’s photos anonymous or literally, with not even a burner account and be like, ‘Oh this person’s ugly,’ or commenting on people’s weight – or whatever it is.”

Cavinder revealed she gets these comments “all the time” and said it’s “ridiculous how people can go out of their way and do that.”

Beck, a college senior and star quarterback for the University of Georgia, has come under fire on X, with users commenting on his looks.

“I’m like physically astonished at how ugly carson beck is how do genetics fuck up that bad,” one user wrote Sunday.

While Cavinder did not name Beck in her video, commenters mentioned his name in the comments.

“Yeah don’t change the fact that Carson Beck ugly as fugg,” the video’s top comment stated.

Cavinder’s video comes just two days after the Bulldogs lost to the Alabama Crimson Tide, where Beck finished the night with three touchdowns, 439 passing yards and three interceptions, according to Sports Illustrated.
