What do Democratic excuse-making for crime in America and for Islamist terrorism have in common with the gang rape of lower-class white girls in England? Both feature left-wing politicians enabling evil by sacrificing vulnerable people on the altar of multiculturalism.
Last week, Elon Musk performed a public service by massively raising awareness with posts on his social media platform X about a British scandal that reaches all the way up to Prime Minister Keir Starmer. British bien pensants dismissed Musk’s intervention reflexively as improper meddling by an ignorant foreign billionaire, which is a telling way to respond when someone calls for action over hundreds of thousands of young girls in the poorest regions of England being raped and tortured over several decades.
Crucial to understanding how there can be any dispute on maximally exposing this matter is realizing that the perpetrators are ethnic Pakistani and Bangladeshi Muslims. In as many as 50 towns run by the governing Labour Party, of which Starmer is head, officials and police concealed industrial-scale exploitation of girls, some prepubescent and from foster homes with no protection, who were preyed on systematically by men who, being dark skinned and non-British in origin, are treated as a protected class of criminal.
It is not that there have been no prosecutions at all over the years. But many more crimes have been ignored and obscured by officialdom. When people have spoken out about it and demanded accountability — they have included the fathers of abused girls — they have been condemned as racists. Rapists whose cases Starmer kept out of court for supposed lack of evidence when he was director of public prosecutions have since been convicted and imprisoned by less ideological prosecutors.
There is now, rightly, a public outcry over both the crimes and the cover-up. Kemi Badenoch, the new leader of the Conservative Party, is demanding a full public inquiry, but Starmer’s response is to refuse this reasonable proposal and denounce it as a cynical attempt to “jump on a bandwagon of the far Right.” He cites “honesty, decency, truth, and the rule of law” to battle critics who seek only honesty, decency, truth, and the rule of law.
The core of the problem in Britain also afflicts the United States. It is mass immigration by people, mostly Muslim, who arrive from alien cultures frequently antagonistic to our own, who have been encouraged by multiculturalists to reject the mores of the country to which they have migrated. This has created on both sides of the Atlantic balkanized rather than unified societies in which vocal and often intemperate minorities cling to attitudes from the places they left, who sometimes explicitly propose the subjugation of the culture of the nation now giving them a home.
With the rape gangs in Britain, this means treating women as slaves of men. White non-Muslim women are often regarded as less than that, untermenschen who can be beaten, raped, and passed around for further exploitation. In America, the ideological kinsmen of Britain’s rape gangs are the bigots who claim that the beating, rape, kidnap, and murder of Jews by Hamas terrorists is a legitimate form of resistance against colonialism. As demonstrations in American cities and campuses show, the Left sides with barbarians at the gate of the Holy Land because the attackers are brown-skinned and backward and, therefore, to be regarded axiomatically as suppressed and persecuted.
The Jew-hatred of the American and international Left is the ancient visceral bigotry overlaid and given theoretical support by modern post-Marxist theories on race, colonialism, oppression, and intersectionality. Jew-haters, both Muslim and not, have become important voters for Democrats. They are represented on Capitol Hill by the likes of Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI). Because these voters might tip the balance of power in some states, President Joe Biden and others have thwarted Israel in its existential war against Islamist death cults financed by the mullahs in Iran.
The same reflex that prompts British left-liberal authorities to cover up mass rape networks run by ethnic South Asians is shared by rogue prosecutors in many big American cities who, on grounds of race, refuse to prosecute violent criminals and repeatedly set them free to prey anew on innocent members of the public.

The outcry in Britain, like the increasingly frank rejection in the U.S. of race-based excuses for wrongdoing, manifests a welcome public awakening and resilience. It suggests, like the Nov. 5, 2024, election result, that a public that has been quiescent for decades while spineless officials helped left-wing bullies slash and burn traditional Western values is now alive to the threat and more willing to fight to defeat it.
The public can see that “Islamophobia” is a lie and that diversity is not our strength when it obliterates the difference between right and wrong, good and evil. Ordinary people always knew this in theory but now recognize that it’s staring them insolently in the face.
