Sydney Sweeney Shares Behind-The-Scenes Photos After Paparazzi Uncover Her Latest Project

Sydney Sweeney said paparazzi hid in bushes and captured images of her on the set of her new project, so she beat them to it by revealing her new role.

The famous actress shared two images of herself Oct. 16 on Instagram, in an effort to get ahead of the paparazzi’s looming leak of the news.

“Well the cats out of the bag thanks to some paps in bushes so here’s a little bts from my film im working on right now,” Sweeney wrote in the caption. She then proceeded to tell fans she will be playing the role of professional boxer Christy Martin in an upcoming biopic.

Martin famously competed in the ring in the 1990s and 2000s, and her story is coming to life once more with Sweeney in the leading role.

The Instagram photographs showed Sweeney standing between movie trailers looking completely transformed and in character. Her blonde locks were replaced by dark brown hair and bangs, as she flexed her toned muscles.

The star looked dramatically different than how she usually appears in her day-to-day social media photos.

“Over the past few months, I’ve been immersed in training to bring to life the story of an incredible woman—a true champion who fought battles both inside and outside the ring,” Sweeney wrote in the caption of her post.

“Her journey is a testament to resilience, strength, and hope, and I’m honored to step into her shoes to share her powerful story with you all.”
