We have absolutely wild footage out of Tampa!
Tropicana Field, the home stadium of the Tampa Bay Rays, saw its roof blown off due to high winds that were being ripped from Hurricane Milton. The storm made landfall as a Category 3 hurricane Wednesday that slammed into the Gulf Coast of Florida.

The Rays‘ ballpark, which is located in St. Petersburg, was being used as a site for where first responders were staying, as well as local and state emergency management services that were assisting with the removal of debris. Things were set up at Tropicana to hold 10,000 people, and on the field, cots were placed where they could sleep.
Contact has been made with the people in the facility and everyone is safe, according to St. Petersburg Fire Rescue’s Capt. Garth Swingle per ABC News. It’s not known if any damage was suffered inside the ballpark.

Y’all be sure to follow me before the next storm, because I was absolutely on point with everything.
I predicted Hurricane Milton to be a Category 5 (twice) before anybody else, had it making landfall as a Category 3 before the National Hurricane Center (NHC), and I also had the right direct hit location south of Tampa while the NHC still had it going directly into the city. Oh, and nobody had the analysis like me when it came to wind shear vs. Gulf waters, the eyewall, etc.
I can’t help but toot my own horn, I was a muthafriggin’ monster with this thing. And that’s why they call me “The Hurricane Whisperer,” ladies and gentlemen.
