Absolute chaos in Austin!
Fans of the Texas Longhorns were absolutely livid Saturday night, littering the Darrell K. Royal-Memorial Stadium field with cans and bottles following a scandalous pass interference call that was in favor of the Georgia Bulldogs. The play came at a critical moment in the third quarter.
With three minutes to go, a pass interference penalty was called that nixed out a huge interception that was made by Longhorns defensive back Jahdae Barron, and it immediately sparked anger in the Texas fanbase. In response, Longhorns fans pelted the field with trash, causing a delay in the game due to things having to be cleaned up. Afterwards, officials then reversed the call and the interception stayed in place. Texas took advantage to knock in a touchdown just shortly after and brought down UGA’s lead to 23-15.
Georgia went on to win the game, 30-15.

Boy oh boy, am I glad I decided to tune back in literally right before this happened. (I had screens full of college football and tornado chasing in New Mexico, wild day)
