Whether she’s campaigning or governing, Kamala Harris isn’t very good at her job.
She fumbles answers to even the most basic questions on the economy and immigration. She hasn’t delivered on any of the policy issues she was assigned as vice president. And, up until she was anointed the Democratic nominee, voters viewed her unfavorably as a transparent phony.
Yet a new campaign video shows there’s one job that she would actually be pretty great at. If the way she interacted with this little girl is anything to go by, Harris would make a great mom. (RELATED: Joe Biden Appears To Throw Harris Under The Bus For Second Time In Just A Month)

She leaned down to speak with the girl, probably around three or four years old, in what was obviously an orchestrated campaign event. Yet for the first time ever, Harris’ enthusiasm actually felt genuine.
“Tell me, what’s going on with you?” she asked the girl in a baby-friendly voice that felt far less forced than all her other accents and personas.
“You make me feel so inspired. My goodness, I love meeting our young leaders,” she responded, after receiving the little girl’s endorsement.
The whole thing was actually really cute, despite coming out of left field. You wouldn’t expect Harris to have such maternal instincts at almost 60 years old with no children of her own. Even the biggest MAGA Momma won’t be able to resist gushing over this scene.
Talk about “joy.” The media keeps assuring us Harris is bringing joy back to American politics, but speaking to this little girl is by far the most joyful I’ve ever seen her.
She must know she’s in way over her head with all this “politics stuff.” She’s so much better talking to this little girl than she is at your typical campaigning, let alone actually governing. Perhaps a tiny part of her realized here that she would have been so much happier and more fulfilled as a mom.
