Well, hot damn!
The latest edition of “Inside the NBA” got absolutely heated Thursday night, as Shaquille O’Neal verbally squabbled with all of his co-hosts after he solely defended Jimmy Butler against the Miami Heat in the dispute between the cupcake diva and franchise. And quite frankly, you can’t blame Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson for ganging up on Shaq for his horrendous take.
Miami announced Wednesday that they slapped Butler with a suspension (again) for not being committed to the team after he missed a flight on their most recent road trip. Just weeks ago, Butler told reporters that he no longer wanted to be a part of the Heat and demanded a trade, saying he lost his love for playing basketball in South Beach. Here in the 2024-25 season, Butler is getting paid $48 million in guaranteed money, but if you ask Shaq about it, that’s no reason to play well for the Heat. “All I’ve done for you guys, you don’t want to give me an extension? So now human nature kicks in. You don’t want me, I don’t want you,” started off Shaq in Butler’s defense.
And things just escalated from there.

Shaq is demonstrating the reason the NBA is losing fans. No one wants to watch a guy who is making $50M/year throw a tantrum and stop playing. Defending this is crazy. pic.twitter.com/8HEfm8zfvK

Shaq is just being petty because Pat Riley got rid of his ass back in the day. (LMAO)
