Tim Walz: Vote For Me, I’m Stupid

Please vote for me, I’m not too bright, I’m just a middling public school teacher and football coach from the Midwest, I haven’t accomplished much in my life unlike my opponent. So goes Tim Walz’s latest pitch to Americans.

At a campaign event Tuesday in western Pennsylvania, the vice presidential nominee took a swipe at J.D. Vance for being a smart, talented and successful individual who is “cosplaying as a cowboy.” (RELATED: After Seeing Walz Fumble With A Shotgun, It Was Probably For The Best He Refused To Deploy To Iraq)

“J.D. Vance is a venture capitalist cosplaying as a cowboy. I don’t even know what a venture capitalist does,” Walz told his supporters.

Instead of explaining to his supporters why some critics think venture capitalists are fake entrepreneurs, vultures who get lucky and only make their nut during periods of low interest rates, Walz flat out admitted he’s about as ignorant and stupid as his running mate. Venture capitalists? We don’t have those kinds of folks here in the Midwest! Never heard of ’em!

As one conservative Twitter user said, even a 15-year-old probably knows what a venture capitalist does.

This is the second time in a week that Walz has shot himself in the foot by putting his foot in his mouth. During a pheasant-hunting PR stunt in Minnesota on Saturday, Walz was caught on camera fumbling with his shotgun. Frankly, the vice presidential nominee is fortunate to have avoided literally shooting himself in the foot over the weekend, he looked so out of his element handling a firearm.
