Actor Tom Cruise has thrilled fans for years with his daredevil stunts, but the novelty seems to have worn off, at least for now.
The famous actor was photographed standing on top of a London movie theater’s roof Sunday in promotion of “Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning.” Many fans were not sure what to make of the spectacle.
Specifically, Cruise was spotted on top of the BFI IMAX building, Deadline reported. The building boasts the largest screen in the U.K. at 65 feet tall and 85 feet wide.
Fans addressed Cruises’ unexpected rooftop appearance, and they did not hold back.
“That doesn’t even shock me anymore,” one user commented.
“He needs to get a life,” another person said.
The comments were quite the contrast from the usual praise Cruise generally receives after performing his death-defying stunts. Video appearing to show Cruise on the rooftop can be viewed here.
“Bro doesn’t even have cameras around him, He’s just flexing at this point,” one user wrote on X.
“What kind of aura farming is this?” another user asked.
Others suggested the famous actor was engaging in stunt spectacles to feed his own ego.

“Nobody loves Tom Cruise as much as Tom Cruise,” someone commented.
“Who is he doing this for?” another X user asked.
“If he would run off and then change out the suit and a parachute detaches ill be impressed,” one person quipped, suggesting the star’s stunt routine is becoming repetitive.
Many individuals shared the same sentiment and wrote comments including, “Why? Ran out of movie promotion funds?” and “is tom cruise okay? Will he jump?”
“Looked out the window on my uni study break — Why is Tom Cruise on top of the BFI?” another person wrote.(RELATED: Tom Cruise Gives Rare Insight Into How He Pulls Off Death-Defying Movie Stunts)
