President Donald Trump’s “border czar,” Tom Homan, is joining press secretary Karoline Leavitt for a White House press briefing at 8:30 a.m.
The joint news conference comes as border crossings along the Southern border were down 94.8% last month, compared to March 2024, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Trump has made mass deportations of illegal immigrants a top priority for his administration, however some efforts are currently halted by federal judges.
