Excellent work by OutKick here, definitely some of their best.
Around a month ago, OutKick originally reported there is evidence suggesting legendary sports apparel brand Nike funded a study on youth athletes. And not just youth athletes, but transgender youth athletes. Not surprisingly, Nike has been extremely quiet about their alleged involvement.
Another set of people that have been silent on the matter are Democrats, because of course. OutKick reached out to several, including New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett. None of them responded. Shocker, I know.
So what does OutKick decide to do?
Go to Washington D.C. and ask Democrats to their face! (LMAO)
While in D.C., the outlet got the opportunity to question Ocasio-Cortez, Crockett, California Rep. Nancy Pelosi, House Minority Leader New York Rep. Hakeem Jeffries and Delaware Rep. Sarah McBride about the alleged study, and as you’re about to read, they ALL scurried away like cockroaches!
When Pelosi was questioned, she responded that she “didn’t understand what [OutKick] said,” and then quickly ran away into a restricted zone where press isn’t permitted. She did this rather than ask for clarity. (RELATED: Track Meet Officials Allegedly Force High School Girls To Take Off ‘Protect Girls Sports’ Shirts In California)
With Crockett, she straight up denied OutKick’s request for questioning, literally the only interaction the outlet got with her.
McBride claimed to be “running late” following an aide saying “we have to go back to the office.” McBride happened to add “I’m sorry,” but still, the cockroach scurry behavior was strong.
Jeffries heard every word of OutKick’s question, but claimed that he was “unfamiliar” with Nike‘s alleged study on transgender youth athletes. But instead of getting more information from the outlet, he also scurried away like a cockroach to an area where media is not allowed.
Lastly, OutKick caught up with Ocasio-Cortez after a meeting with the House Committee on Energy & Commerce.
“I haven’t heard anything about that and I don’t want to comment on anything I don’t have any background on,” AOC responded.
OutKick then asked her about men participating in female sports.
“I’m on my way to vote,” before also scurrying away like a cockroach.

OutKick’s @RealDanZak went to DC to ask top Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi and AOC, about Nike’s alleged role in funding a study on “transgender” youth athletes.
Unsurprisingly, they weren’t interested in talking about it. pic.twitter.com/81OtzDOnzt
