This is a Class A example of why you don’t run your mouth without leverage.
A couple of years following his settlement with sexual assault accuser Lindsey Hill, ex-MLB superstar Trevor Bauer was victorious in a default judgement that took place in Los Angeles Superior Court, with Hill being ordered to pay out $310,000 to Bauer for allegedly being in violation of the two’s settlement agreement. Per a report from the Los Angeles Times, the agreement between them didn’t allow false claims from either party about how the other had to pay in order for everything to get settled. Hill allegedly ended up being in breach of that contract after she lied about Bauer paying her while making appearances on podcasts and at public events.
Headed by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Daniel Crowley, the court made the move to award Bauer $220,000 after Hill allegedly made 22 violations when it comes to their settlement. With everything added up, Hill owes $309,832.02 in total.

The situation between Bauer and Hill sparked up when Bauer originally sued Hill for defamation, resulting in her counter-suing for allegations of sexual assault. Bauer was suspended for 194 games by Major League Baseball and ended up losing over $30 million in both salary and endorsements in the middle of it, according to OutKick.
Texts and pictures following the alleged sexual assaults, which are claimed to have taken place in April and May 2021, seemingly contradicted Hill’s case, including one from an individual telling Hill to “secure the bag,” per the Daily Caller.
“Being an absolute whore to try and get in on his $51 million,” reads another text.
