A video showing hip-hop magnate Diddy appearing to attempt to kiss Bono resurfaced Monday after authorities filed several charges against the hip-hop mogul in mid-September.
The clip shows the moment at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards when Diddy stepped forward to hug and congratulate U2 frontman Paul “Bono” Hewson for the “Best Original Song Award” for their tune, “Ordinary Love from Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.”
The video appears to show Diddy briefly attempting to land a kiss on Bono’s cheek as the two greeted each other. Bono seems to recoil from Diddy in the cringe-worthy clip circulating on social media.

Bono “still shudders” when he recalls the interaction, according to an insider’s statement sent to RadarOnline.
“Loads of fans are saying the obvious discomfort with Bono’s body language all those years ago is a sign he knew there was something not right with Diddy – to say the least,” the insider told RadarOnline.
The insider reportedly insisted that Bono wasn’t part of Diddy’s social scene.
“There’s no way he knew about the depths of his depravity or he would have spoken up, but there was no way Bono was letting him anywhere near him, even 10 years ago,” the source said, according to RadarOnline.
Videos of Diddy’s interactions with celebrities, politicians and VIP representatives have been scrutinized since authorities arrested Diddy on federal sex crime charges in New York City. (RELATED: ‘Horrific Conspiracy Theories’: Diddy’s Kids Break Their Silence)
