Mad respect to Cam Newton for this.
Since 2022, former NFL quarterback Cam Newton hasn’t played for a franchise, and technically, he’s not retired yet. And, who knows, maybe he could make a return one day. However, him going into reality television is signaling a potential retirement, and maybe that’s a good idea considering this wild video I have for you.
If you’re not familiar, Fox has a show called “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” and with their 16 competitors this season, the 35-year-old Newton is one of them. And boy, oh, boy, it didn’t take long for Newton to change our view of him from a “washed up quarterback” to “this dude is still an athletic freak of nature.” (RELATED: ‘Insufferable’: OutKick’s Clay Travis Blasts Bust NFL QB Turned Corny Commentator RGIII Over Idiotic ‘Race Baiting’)
In the premiere episode of the new season, Newton was given the task of having to jump from a boat onto a helicopter, with both moving. And then, when he got on the helicopter’s landing skid, he had to pull himself up into the chopper. And like I said, the thing was moving!
It’s something that I wouldn’t be able to do, no way in hell, but Cam?
My man did it in around 15 seconds, and the scenes are pure America.

I’ve always liked Cam Newton, though he irked me a little bit just recently with his Jason Whitlock take (another story for another day), but this … absolutely epic stuff.
