Demi Moore’s interaction with fellow actress Elle Fanning at the Golden Globes has gone viral after fans accused Moore of snubbing Kylie Jenner in the video clip.
Hollywood drama is running rampant after Moore was seen hugging Fanning and seemingly ignoring Jenner’s compliment on her big win. The rumor mill took flight after clips of the Jan. 5 exchange began making the rounds on the internet Monday. Social media began to chatter, accusing Moore of ignoring Jenner by seemingly leaning over her to sneak in a hug with Fanning. Apparently the allegations of celebrity cattiness took flight with online trolls to such a degree that Moore’s daughter, Tallulah Willis, responded to the claims in her mother’s defense.

Willis took to Instagram on Jan. 6 with a carousel of images of her mom’s big win. She praised Moore for her accomplishments and kept things light and celebratory until a few images into her Instagram story, where the tone changed.
She addressed the viral moment head-on and vehemently denied the rumors that her mom was being intentionally rude to Jenner, who was at the award ceremony as Timothee Chalamet’s plus one.
“NIPPING THIS STRAIGHT IN THE BUD,” Willis began.
“We spent New Year’s with Elle [Fanning], so connecting with her after a win was a very organic thing to do, this angel was in total shock and delight and moving throughout a warm room of well wishes,” she said, referencing Moore.
“There was not snub of any sort, had she seen KJ [Jenner] wanting to congratulate her she would have fully given her the time and space,” Willis said.
She then called out the internet trolls for creating drama where she claimed none existed.
“Literally just give it all a break and let a gal enjoy her accomplishment,” Willis wrote, in an effort to dull the sharpness of the criticism against her mother. (RELATED: Demi Moore Sticks It To Condescending Producer After Big Career Win)
