Video Seems To Show Woman Stealing Package From Neighbor. Report Claims It’s Chiefs Receiver Rashee Rice’s Mother

Ring camera video footage appears to capture a woman stealing a package from her neighbor’s porch.

The woman is believed to be Marsha Kearney, the mother of Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice, according to TMZ.

In the video of the incident Sept. 29, the woman is walking down the hallway while wearing a custom “Momma-Rice” jersey. She walked by her neighbor’s doorway and seemed to look into the camera as she passed by. She then turned around and made her way back to the door again, pausing briefly to seemingly drag a package across the ground with her foot. The woman appeared to think she was out of the frame, but what was captured seemed to show a classic case of porch pirating.

The woman bends over and lifts a box from under her foot. She then turned around and walked away with it in her hand.

The owner of the package claimed they had purchased two limited-edition Chappell Roan vinyls from Urban Outfitters, which were reportedly inside the box that the woman removed from their doorway, according to TMZ.

The neighbor reviewed the camera footage and said they attempted to resolve the matter with Kearney, Rice, and the powers-that-be at their apartment complex, according to TMZ, in hopes of having the vinyl returned. Those efforts didn’t prove to be fruitful. The neighbor took matters into their own hands by notifying police of the alleged theft.

The neighbor’s identity was not revealed and the value of the Chappell Roan vinyl was not disclosed.
