Former WWE wrestler Mojo Rawley (real name Dean Muhtadi) suffered an injury partying Saturday night in Las Vegas.

Video footage shared Monday by TMZ shows Muhtadi dancing and partying with professional DJ Ryan Cabrera at Ghost Bar when things took an unexpected turn. The famous wrestler appeared to be engaged in a dance battle when he attempted a diving shoulder roll and landed the wrong way. The 6’4″, 269 lb former Andre The Giant Battle Royal champ slammed down onto his left shoulder.

Muhtadi proved he was built tough by continuing onward with his night. He kept partying despite the injury and seemed to believe that he’d be in better shape after he went back to his hotel room for a good night’s sleep. When he woke up Sunday morning, the pain in his shoulder told a different tale. He went to see a local doctor and an X-ray was ordered.

TMZ reported that Muhtadi suffered from a grade III AC (acromioclavicular) joint (total) separation, but thankfully wouldn’t require surgical intervention. The former WWE wrestler and TMZ Sports TV show host will spend the next couple of weeks in a sling and is expected to be fine after that.

He continued to push through the pain by attending a full day of WrestleMania events Sunday, according to TMZ.

“Some things never change – Dean has always been known for bringing the hype. But seeing him return on Day 2 after a shoulder injury and finish the contest gave a whole new meaning to what being HYPE really is,” Mandy Sacs, a fellow professional wrestler, told the outlet.

Cabrera weighed in about the events that transpired.

“Watching Mojo split his shorts during the dance battle at my set was the highlight of my DJ career!!! It is a true testament to his dedication to winning, the man even dislocated his shoulder. I’ll never unsee what I saw that glorious evening!” Cabrera said. (RELATED: Actor DeRon Horton Reveals Gruesome Photos After Being Shot In The Arm)

Mutadi told TMZ that “breakdancing is a full-contact sport!”
