According to Kamala Harris, the Los Angeles riots are “overwhelmingly peaceful” and nothing more than “part of the Trump administration’s cruel, calculated agenda to spread panic and division.”
But as one Homeland Security official commented, “These rioters in Los Angeles are fighting to keep rapists, murderers, and other violent criminals loose on Los Angeles streets.”
President Donald Trump and his administration are not listening to Democrats who continue to downplay the violence. The Department of Homeland Security has released the names and photos of the “worst of the worst” illegal alien criminals arrested during the LA riots. All criminal information is from the DHS unless otherwise noted.
Cuong Chanh Phan
This 49-year-old convicted murderer entered the U.S. illegally from Vietnam. In 1994, after he was kicked out of an LA high school graduation party, Phan returned with gang members and shot up the crowd, killing two and wounding seven. His criminal record includes a conviction for second-degree murder and a sentence of 15 years to life.
Rolando Veneracion-Enriquez
This 55-year-old illegal immigrant from the Philippines has convictions for theft, assault, burglary, and intended rape. His record includes a four-year sentence for theft and a 37-year sentence for forcible assault with intent to rape.
Lionel Sanchez-Laguna
Sanchez-Laguna is a 55-year-old illegal immigrant from Mexico. His criminal history includes convictions for willful cruelty to a child, discharging of a firearm in a domestic setting, battery of a spouse or cohabitant, assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and driving under the influence.
Eswin Uriel Castro
Castro, a previously deported Mexican national, has criminal convictions for child molestation and being armed with a dangerous weapon. He has also been arrested for robbery and domestic violence.
Cielo Vivar-Ubaldo
This illegal immigrant from Mexico has convictions for sex with a minor, hit-and-run, and narcotics violations, according to a press release from the White House. Vivar-Ubaldo has also been previously deported.
Armando Ordaz
Ordaz is a 44-year-old Mexican national who entered the country illegally. His criminal history includes convictions for sexual battery in LA, receiving known or stolen property, and petty theft.
Anastacio Enrique Solis-Salinas
A criminal from Nicaragua, this illegal immigrant has convictions for domestic violence and hit-and-run. He has also been arrested for willful cruelty to a child.
Julian Riveros-Cadavid
According to the White House, this Colombian national has arrests for child endangerment, domestic battery, assault with a deadly weapon, grand theft, and narcotics violations. Riveros-Cadavid is in the U.S. illegally.
Miguel Angel Palafox-Montes
Arrested over nine times, this 44-year-old Mexican national has convictions for grand theft, narcotics violations, and identity theft. He has also been arrested for battery and burglary. Palafox-Montes had “voluntarily returned” to Mexico twice before his most recent arrest in LA.
Rafael Gamez-Sanchez
This Mexican illegal immigrant has a conviction for vehicular manslaughter.
Emiliano Garduno-Galvez
Charged for possession and detonation of a Molotov cocktail, Garduno-Galvez was arrested Wednesday for attempted murder. The 23-year-old illegal alien from Mexico was caught on video throwing a flaming Molotov cocktail over a wall at law enforcement officials during the LA riots. According to DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin, Garduno-Galvez was previously arrested for grand theft and driving under the influence.
In addition to Garduno-Galvez’s arrest, the U.S. Attorney’s Office of Central California reported that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents also arrested 27-year-old Wrakkie Quiogue for possession and denotation of a Molotov cocktail. There is currently no indication that Quiogue, a resident of Long Beach, is an illegal immigrant.
