(The Center Square) – In today’s edition of Illinois in Focus Daily, The Center Square Associate Editor Greg Bishop reviews the latest status of challenges to Illinois’ gun and magazine bans with a district level case being put on hold pending the outcome of a separate case in the federal appeals court.
Bishop also reviews the total number of bills the House and Senate passed out of their respective chambers. One measure that didn’t advance before the deadline was the Illinois Homeschool Act.
And, Bishop provides an update on the Trump administration’s motion for summary judgment against the state of Illinois’ migrant sanctuary policies and Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker criticism of federal funding being withheld for violence intervention.
