I’m no fan of public fights — people look like idiots — but the entertainment value is incredible in sporting events.
Take this Supercross motorbike race, for example, that took place Saturday in California. Right in the middle of action, two drivers ended up getting into a brawl following a collision, and I mean right on the track and in the middle of other drivers trying to zoom by. It was utter chaos.
Footage from the A2 qualifying round at Anaheim’s Angels Stadium shows drivers Wyatt Mattson and Braden Spangle rolling around in the dirt, attempting to throw punches whenever they got the chance to. And remember how I said that they were doing this right in the middle of drivers flying by on the track?
One of those drivers, Anthony Casteneda, nearly crashed into them that would have made this situation so much worse.
It’s not exactly known why the two drivers got into the physical altercation.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not advocating for violence or anything like that. I think regular people getting into fights is dumb. But I will say that brawls that erupt at sporting events, between the athletes themselves (not fans), hit you different. And quite frankly, I can’t help but to be entertained.
I’m thinking we may have to consider allowing competitors to fight it out in the heat of competition … I wanna grab some popcorn just thinking about it.
