Chaos erupted at the end of the WWE RAW event Monday night when the entire ring collapsed right before fans’ eyes.
The crowd went wild as the ring folded under the pressure of the fight between bitter rivals Braun Strowman and Branson Reed during the “Last Monster Standing” match. Reed weighs in at 330 pounds, while Strowman clocked in at 385 changed when they made their way to the top rope. Their combined 715 pounds came crashing down to the mat, and the ring crumbled beneath them. Of course, the destruction was all caught on camera and is being widely circulated online.
The battle of the heavyweights did not disappoint — this was far more action than fans expected, and all of this went down just before Seth Rollins marked his return.
“The ropes are gone!” RAW commentator Joe Tessitore shouted wildly.
“The ring has gone down, and both men are laid out!” he yelled.
Both wrestlers lay flattened in the collapsed ring, and just as Reed was about to get back on his feet, Rollins appeared out of nowhere and gave him a stomp.
“What is there left to destroy now,” Tessitore shouted.

Strowman managed to get up just before the end of the 10 second count and was ultimately declared the winner.
Social media exploded with comments as fans soaked up the unexpected drama and flooded the internet by describing their excitement. There’s no word on why the ring wasn’t strong enough to hold up during the anticipated fight.
