Woody Allen dipped out of the spotlight after sexual assault allegations were made against him, and he just resurfaced at a launch party for a seductive app.
The disgraced filmmaker quietly tucked himself away from the Hollywood circuit when his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow accused him of sexual assault, and was backed by Allen’s ex, Mia Farrow. He slowly faded into the background, only to reappear Tuesday at the launch party for a literary magazine made by Feeld, which is marketed as being “the dating app for the curious,” according to Page Six. AFM stands interchangeably for either “A F**king Magazine” or “A Feeld Magazine,” according to the outlet.

The official website advertises the app by saying, “Perhaps you’ve felt attraction, or attracted others in return—but have you ever felt like a creep? Don’t turn away.”
It promises to be “a truly free form of sex,” according to the website.
“There’s a lot of different ways to connect, and even more ways to be close with people you meet. Feeld members discuss the limitless possibilities for romance in all forms,” the website notes.
The site promotes “less commitment, more connections,” and encourages users to obtain a “Majestic Membership.”
“Majestic Membership unlocks the best of Feeld: go Incognito mode when you want to hide your profile and photos; filter by Desires; send and receive unlimited Likes.”

This hardly seems to be the type of event Allen should be diving into, given the allegations made against him.
Or is this actually a match made in heaven?
Allen was accompanied by his wife Soon Yi Previn at the bash held at literary figure Daphne Merkin’s Upper East Side residence, according to Page Six. He’s is a longtime friend of Merkin’s and is said to have mingled with guests at the event, seemingly unphased by the fact that he isn’t doing himself any favors by showing up to this particular party.
Considering his tainted background, Allen may have wanted to select a different project to support — and he was doing great by staying tucked away. This appearance was so unnecessary.
