As a father, this hurts my soul a little bit.
When it comes to Christmas between U.S. Women’s National Team (USWNT) soccer star Trinity Rodman and her legendary NBA dad Dennis Rodman, there won’t be one.
While making an appearance on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Trinity couldn’t have kept it more real when the conversation transitioned into the relationship with her father and how life was growing up with him.
“He’s not a dad. Maybe by blood, but nothing else,” said Trinity regarding Dennis. “We tried to live with him, but he’s having parties 24/7, bringing random bitches in. He loves the spotlight.”
And it gets worse.
“I walk over there, he grabs my head and I just start balling into his arms as if it’s like a daddy-daughter, like … he was like, ‘I want to see you soon, I’m in DC,’” continued Trinity. “I was like, ‘OK.’ And after that, radio silence. I didn’t see him again until like, this year. I didn’t talk to him or see him until, I think, right after the World Cup.”
Yikes.
WATCH:
I’m not gonna lie, this is some pretty brutal stuff. Dennis might wanna clean things up before it’s too late, if it’s not already.
